Subject: Vietnam Bride Enter Singapore

Despite plentiful of news over how vietnam bride run away after marriage, in Singapore and other countries, but still many would try their luck in getting vietnam bride through agency. I guess the mentality is that those guys are just 'hoping' they would not be that unlucky one and treating the 'runaway' and a 'bad investment'. Not cheap though, probably around $10K excluding many other expenses.
Not to forget even when a vietnam bride 'married' in Singapore, they probable in still in social visit pass of say 3months. And the guy would need to apply endlessly for her to stay, say 1 year call long term visit pass. All come with a fee and whatsoever reason, if the vietnam bride just need to find an excuse to run back vietnam, you will be in the mercy to wait for them to come back!
When coming back to Singapore, fortunate or unfortunate the singapore custom is going to ask the vietnam bride whether got enough money to stay in singapore. Remember they cannot work without a work permit, so vietnam bride will typically ask you to deposit $1k to $2k everytime they went back and forth. Really very 'taxing' if you are not wealth off.
If the 'poor' singapore guy earn only $4000 a month, quite rich though from vietnamese point of view, they will expect you to 'contribute' to their family in vietnam also, say US$300 monthly. So in singapore you feed her, not to forget her 'allowances'. Poor is their key to get more money from you the ATM and their family will suddenly face many 'money' problems, all out to reach to your pockets, see how many you have!
Recent news in Singapore vietnam 'gold-digger' earning money nakad in KTV is typically how desperate they need money! They invaded the traditional 'marriage agency' in hope to find potential ATM and they have no feeling at all when signed at the marriage cert as long they can reap money (such as gifts, downry) and off they go, run off to vietnam and never return. Poor guy, sadly have to clear the mess and even foot the lawyer fee to nullyfy the marriage. Remember in this 'poor' singapore law, if marriage is consumated, you won't get nullyfy marriage so 'easily'. You met the wolf run off with your money, at the back, the tiger (lawyer fee and at least two years with her agreement or four years if without) making sure you know what is hell! Note other people will feel a little pity and sympathy that you are a victim, and from far away over the phone, she said sorry or the '¶Ô²»Æð' in chinese so cheaply. You may not know, for you are just their no xx ATM.
Society becomes more complex, it's really not easy not to get conned. See how those people still engage the marriage agency to get 'quick' marriage vietnam bride, they chosen the easy way in, and when conned, it's their destiny. Be prepared to be their ATM, for marriage is easy, but to get out, that's penalty!!!
