Man arrested in Vietnam for setting wife on fire

The Hanoi police said Wednesday they have arrested a 25-year-old man for allegedly setting fire to his wife over a minor dispute.

Le Van Dong of Me Linh District’s Dai Thinh Commune had a quarrel with his wife Nguyen Thi Thu, 26, on the morning of September 4 but some relatives intervened and broke it up.

Dong went out and returned at around 3 pm that day with a bottle of gasoline, poured it on Thu who was sleeping, and set her on fire.

The relatives immediately took her to the National Burn Institute where doctors said the worst affected parts of her body were her arms and legs.

The police are investigating further.

TKG1700 note:- Vietnam man certainly has their ways of dealing with vietnam woman, especially their wife. Strangely, they will cheat money from foreign marriage and feed their useless boyfriend or husband in vietnam! Maybe that's what we call an eye for an eye! No more sympathy for them!
