Subject: Medical Ethics - Self defense

I heard of an experience, don't know if it really happened or not. A guy was taken to the ER after some kind of accident, but was awake and able to talk and move well. Someone decided he should be made "trauma naked" but he strongly disagreed. One or more female nurses tried to strip him anyway and after warning her to stop and in "self-defense" he pushed her to the ground. She wasn't hurt but she went crazy, as if he had tried to rape her or something.

She wanted him convicted for assault and he plead self defense and lost. Does anyone know at what point something like that could be considered "self defense"? If he warned her not to strip him and she tries anyway could that be considered a sexual assault? Who knows if she had good intentions or not. Her ego may have considered it a challenge that she refused to lose. Like "how dare he refuse me!"

Any perspectives?
