Captain Sir Tom Moore has died with coronavirus.

The 100-year-old, who raised almost 33m for the NHS, was taken to Bedford Hospital after requiring help with his breathing on Sunday.

His daughter Hannah Ingram-Moore said he had been treated for pneumonia over the past few weeks and last week tested positive for Covid-19.

The Army veteran won the nation's hearts by walking 100 laps of his garden before his 100th birthday.

So sad. I read of this wonderful old WWII pensioned veteran last year for his successful attempt to raise money for UK's National Health Service (NHS), raising an astounding 33 million ($45M) and was KNIGHTED at 100 by Queen Elizabeth, for his efforts last summer. ~Sleep well, Sir Moore. ...They did a fine segment on CBS Sunday Morning last year.Tuesday, February 02, 12:33:42pm
