Secret Santa 2009

Nov 9-21st: Get to know your Secret Santa! Send them e-cards, snail mail cards. Make them a banner. Just chat.

Nov 22-Dec 5th: Get in the Christmas spirit. Mail an ornament, toy, something small that says holiday to you!!!!

Dec 7-15th: Send your final gift and reveal!!! Your gift should be between $10-$15 and something your daughter/son would like to

get.

If you get a bad santa, do not worry -- you will not be left out!

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Marilyn for running this program. My children were not involved but we did send out a few gifts for those that did not have a ss or one that did not send gifts.
I know that Marilyn has spent close to 300.00 out of her own pocket to send out gifts. She picked up the kids that signed up for the program and did not get a gift. Please next year do not sign up for the progam if you are not going to send out a gift. Thank you Marilyn for making the SS a fun program for the kids.

Thank You Marilyn (aka Mrs. Claus) for the wonderful gift you sent Annalyn. She got it yesterday and was thrilled with everything in the box. But I also wanted to let you know that she did also get a box from Jiovanni the same day she received yours. Thank you so much Jiovanni! It meant the world to Annalyn to receive your gift.
I try not to be critical of those who have not followed all the rules to a program like this. I understand there are circumstances. Our first gifts sent to Rachel and Tara were late due to the fact that I was trying to take care of my Mother when she was in the hospital. I did get them out as soon as possible. But everyone needs to remember that these kids take this very serious. It is hard when they go to the mailbox day after day and nothing is there.
Thanks again to Mrs. Claus and Jiovanni for Annalyn's gifts. And thanks also to Laney Latta for being such an awesome SS to Jeryn.
We hope that Tara and Rachel enjoyed their gifts. Annalyn and Jeryn had fun choosing them for you.
Marilyn we appreciate your time and hard work for this program!

- Hi, I am glad to hear you had a good Thanksgiving. I did too. I spent a week with my nana and played for days outside with my cousins. It was a blast. On the way home Saturday night we stopped at Santa Land in Tyler, TX. and drove through and saw the lights. It was so much fun. Then last night Momma and Daddy took me to The ICE exhibit at the Gaylord in Grapevine and it was aswesome!! I am definately now feeling like it is Christmas.
