I am guilty of not going back to read all that went before regarding this discussion, so accept my apologies for butting in if it seems that way.

I'm sorry to see that once again a nonbeliever is being called' bitter' simply because he argues against the cherished beliefs of a Theist. It is an old tactic and a really tiresome one. One of the things Theists do not want to face is that a non Theists might live a full, satisfactory ,even rewarding life, because it is one more implication that there just may not be monsters running our lives. They use the fact that you are 'arguing' with them and denying the existence of their gods, to illustrate your anger and bitterness....never mind that they are also"arguing", and also show annoyance ,and even anger. It would be so nice to be able to discuss the nature of existence, the possibility or improbability of gods, and their nature if they were to exist with reasonable adults without this kind of hypocrisy being interjected.

Although I personally don't believe in gods and demons, I do not object to others doing so...provide they find sensible and loving supernatural beings to place in their mythology. It's the monster gods like Jehova that I find offensive.
