The bible is a collection of many individual books/letters selected by a committee, written by many different writers with all sorts of different opinions at widely different times at different conditions for different reasons. Some of these books/letters were written by authors who didn't attach their own names, but the names of others, such as Paul, or no name at all - others attached names to these in later years.
..... In the absence of the originals, we must expect that all sorts of editorial and other changes were made since then to these writings. If God would have wanted the original writings preserved, God would have prevented their loss/destruction.
