America is a country whose poor and middle class citizens are and have been living in denial for a long, long time.
We've been under dictatorships for many years. The only
difference between the dictatorship that Iraqui people were
living under and the dictatorship we've been living under is
that the Iraqui people were not allowed freedom of speech
and they also were tortured and murdered.
The wealthy people and the politicians in this country have
been our dictators. They dictate that they are the only
ones who can have a lifestyle that includes the better things in life. They dictate that we will give them our
money and they will give us the basic things we need to
survive. They dictate that we will admire them and just
about kiss their butts whenever they tell us to. They give us a roof over our heads, clothes to wear,food in our stomachs, and a few bucks in our pockets. And they know that we will bitch and moan about it but that's ALL we will do. As a country we'll continue to listen to their lies whenever election time comes around. And not only will we listen to the lies we'll believe them. We'll continue to believe that they have our best interest at heart. Even though the word heart is not really a part of their vocabulary. That's the political side of the coin. On the wealthy side of the coin we have people who look at everyone else as being a class that they do not want anything to do with. We are their servants and slaves.
They are the prostitutes and we are the john's. The only
difference is that a john gets pleasure from the prostitute
after he gives the prostitute his money. The wealthy,aka
the prostitute, takes our money and really doesn't give us
any pleasure. These are just two ways the dictatorship in
this country works. And the really sad thing is that we
will not admit it's true because if we did admit it we would
be seen as being a nation of fools. And when we are in
denial we do not see ourselves that way even though we are
that way.
