In the beginning, there existed Man. And Man had a need to Count things.
I quote from "Philosophica Mathematica," the book of Count von Count, 12:14
"One Apple, Two Apple, Three Apple, Four!!!
Five Apple, Six Apple, Seven Apple, More!!!"
So Man created Mathematics. First, he created the set of Natural Numbers, for , yea, that which is natural is inherently Good, and Manly. Then, he created the Successor Function, from which all of the great prophet Peano's Arithmetic could be derived. Man looked upon his creation, and said it was Good. Then he took a nap.
Uh, mathematics don't exist outside of man. We created them. We KNOW there was a creator of math. Cause WE DID IT. Since we didn't create the Earth, much less life or the universe, your comparison of the two is hardly applicable, nor does it even make sense.
