Yes, this is what I was thinking....that it is quite unreasonable to expect 'agreement' on what content would be in a natural law. How would thye agreement even be obtained? On your latter comment here: I think natural laws would be too vague because of the above and almost create the need for civil law to be more specific, or would natural laws' vagueness simply not be positive enough to serve as any basis in the matter?

You have referred to this idea quite often lately. I do agree with it....simply because we are all animals. More intelligence (though we are the only animals to pollute their environment......"Arguably", more intelligence, does not make me feel like we are more suited to living over any other animal. The consciousness issue is interesting.
