I would have to take off my skirt or trousers, pull down my pants and lie across his knee.
It wasn't always at bedtime but it was often then because he came home from his office quite late. My mother would have told me why I had to be punished and would tell me, "When your father comes home you will be spanked". I never begged or argued because I always knew that it was fair and there was no point in making a fuss, it was just paying for my 'crimes'.
