Source of Corruption.
Guidelines and Policies.
Let Honor, Respect, Pride in one's self, and Dignity, In Any Guild/Alliance and for others be your base guidelines while a member of Source of Corruption Guild and Alliance. Remember that no matter where you go in game People will judge your guild and alliance by your actions, and we dont want any bad reflection on our guild or allaince.
Source of Corruption is an international group of people of all ages, sexes, religions, races, and backgrounds. As such, all chat must be of a manner that is appropriate to this diverse group. You are asked to closely monitor your use of crude or offensive humor and profane or vulgar language. Harassment or slurs of any type will not be tolerated infractions will be dealt with by Alliance Officers on a case by case basis and penalties applied as deemed appropriate by these Officers.
General Guidelines.
Be respectful at all times no matter the medium used, Source of Corruption Guild/Alliance has members of all ages, as well, any member may have their young family members watching/listening, please keep in mind that at times there will be no children present in vent but..... might pop in at any time, so keep the cursing, and raging to yourself.
Source of Corruption's Members; has member’s world wide, with all possible backgrounds, in all cases, attempt to include any actively playing member in chat and grouped activities.most who play are on limited time with scheduling and would like to keep game play positive and fun.
Respect for those crafting, please offer to pay any crafter you have asked to make items for you, the crafter will tell you the cost and/or the amount they need for their services, advance communications prior to confirming any order [RE] this subject, will solve many problems. also the guild has a fund to help those craft that dont have the money to do it, here lies your responsibility, the guild will not pay for everything but will help when deemed necessary.
Group Loot Policy is always “Need before Greed”, offer dropped items to fellow group members and lotto [Roll] on those items needed by more than one group member, unwanted items may be donated to the guild house vaults for others needs.
Communication; when logging in guild and alliance please be courteous and kind to all, so that when asking anything or simply chatting you get that same respect, everyone wants to be well known and liked, easiest way to get known is to communicate with your fellow guild mates and alliance mates.
Keeping fellow group members informed as to your game timing needs [IE] need a 10 minute AFK or going to have to log after the next run etc, allowing group leaders to adjust game play for these actions; if you’re the group leader, pass the lead to another during your absence.
Call to Arms [CTA], Source of Corruption Officers or guildies may call a CTA or may respond to another’s CTA call, however participation in any CTA is voluntary and any members choice. as a policy we DO NOT make it manditory to show up for such CTA's but will ask you to come out to help but it's your choice.
Open voice and typed chat mediums, keep the use of these mediums limited, use to inform of or announce activities or your direct needs such as looking for a group [LFG] or crafter or inviting others to an activity you may be leading, general personal flaming/venting or spamming is not acceptable, at all times take chat not directly involving the group your with to private/other channels.
Begging or requests for Power Leveling are not acceptable, other guild members will offer to assist fellow members from time to time as they are able, otherwise each member is expected to be self sufficient.
Game Related Questions: At any time, please ask any game related questions you may have, someone likely can help, however again, self sufficiency are the key words, much written help exists and is often available from a simple “Google’ inquiry, endless streams of questions will likely bring silence from fellow members.
Note portion of our Guilds Social Page , please fill in the note portion of our guild's social page , list how you wish your fellow members to know you [IE] first name, main chars name, nick name etc, as well, please always say hello and good by in Guild/Alliance when you log on and off and respond to others log on/off comments, this action is an automatic recognition of your fellow members and/or welcome as the case may be.
Levels in Guild; there are only 3 levels in guild... level 5 which is a guildie, level 2 which is an officer and level 0 which is Guild Master. when joining guild you will automatically be level 5 and have the ability to promote any one of your chars to that level.
Above all Dark Age of Camelot is just a game!, play it as such, keep your game frustrations to yourself, knowing full well others likely have experienced the same testing action or moment, have fun and enjoy one another’s good company. I know most of us are old school so we all know how to handle ourselves.. let's not let the bad in the game get the best of us .
These are our basic guidelines and remember the respect you give is the respect you receive. we as a whole are a great bunch of poeple, and hope by your actions and game play show others what I know of each and every one of the guildies. each one has a strength, and if you dont know what that is, im sure we can show you. thanks in advance for your loyality and Friendship. this game is awesome, but you guys make it so much more.
