How to Prevent and Treat Blue Balls or Congested Prostate

By vascocongestion (blue balls) the testicles and the scrotum are typically swollen and tender. The prostate region can also be swollen, have cramps and be aching. The scrotum can also get a darker color. The symptoms usually go away by themselves after some time, typically after an hour, but it can persist or occur frequently.

The condition can occur in any age, but most often in boys during puberty and in young men, when the genital region is more active than in other ages. It is often seen in teenage boys that for some reason do not have the opportunity to get an orgasm and ejaculation in several days. Blue balls seems to be a frequent issue in some communities around the world or in certain ambients like boarding schools for boys, but in other communities it seems not to be any issue at all. In UK and North America the condition seems to be a frequent issue, but it is seldom heard of in for example Scandinavia.

The cause of the condition is often a prolonged sexual arousal with an engorged penis and perineal region without orgasm and ejaculation. During sexual arousal veins leading blood from the genital and perineal area constrict, so that blood and lymph accumulates. By this condition the constriction of the veins does not go back but develop into prolonged cramps. Then excessive amount of blood and lymph will accumulate and stay. The blood will also loose oxygen so that it gets a bluish color.

The accumulation of lymph and blood then squeezes the tube that leads from each testicle, through the prostate and into the urethra, the Vas deferens, and clogs it. Then secretions made by the testicles and the prostate will also accumulate and increase the pressure even more. At some points the condition leads to accute symptoms. After some time the cramps and symptoms will usually cease. Clogged vas deference or prostate can be prevented by having regular orgasms, either by sex or regular masturbation. One can also prevent blue balls by massage of the region between the legs, the testicles and the penis. This can be done by hands or by using a vibrator. Masturbation or massage of this region is also a good cure for the condition in its acute stage.

Ordinarily blue balls or related conditions are not dangerous. Sometimes it is however impossible to get an erect penis go down again even after several hours. By this condition, called priapism, where the blood vessels in the penis are clogged by permanent cramps or other causes, the inner tissue of the penis can be destroyed if it is not treated emergently. By the treatment one usually empties the stuffed blood from the penis by a small cut.

Después de la polemica elección de Miss EE.UU. (donde se confirm�Eque el Miss Universo tendrá lugar en Las Vegas en el mes de agosto), continuamos con los concursos nacionales alrededor del planeta. En este mes de mayo serán elegidas las reinas de Islandia, Kosovo, Nigeria, Perú, Azerbaiyán, India, Singapur y Zambia. Mucho se ha hablado sobre la gestión de los directores nacionales en sus respectivos países; por ejemplo han habido quejas por parte del público mexicano que afirma que Lupe Jones quiere perpetuarse como la 1ra y única Miss Universo Mexicana. Sin embargo otro sector del pueblo azteca la defiende a capa y espada, afirmando que esto es ridiculo y absurdo, puesto que desde que inició su gestión en 1994, ya le ha dado dos MISS INTERNATIONAL a México. Veamos un breve recorrido sobre LOS MAS POLEMICOS DIRECTORES NACIONALES de BELLEZA.


OSMEL SOUSA
Iniciamos nuestra lista, con OSMEL SOUSA, sin duda alguna el director del Certamen de Belleza ¡¡Más Exitoso de Todos Los Tiempos!!
Cubano de nacimiento, Osmel se establece en la ciudad de Maracaibo, Venezuela en 1959. En la década de los '70s se comprometi�Ea asesorar a las concursantes seleccionadas, muchas de las cuales pasaron a ganar la corona nacional de Miss Venezuela. Además participaba como diseñador de los trajes de muchas participantes.

DEBORAH MILLER
Muy poco conocida entre los missologos y fans en general, Deborah Miller es la actual Directora del MISS UNIVERSE AUSTRALIA.
Deborah renovó el interes del publico australiano por los concursos de belleza, que se habia apagado con creces desde 1972 cuando el pais de los canguros obtuvo la dupleta de ganar el Miss Universo y el Miss World el mismo año.
TRIUNFOS: Deborah Miller asumió la dirección del Miss Universe Australia en 2004 y consiguió que su primera discipula Jennifer Hawkins ganase la 2da corona universal para Australia.
Una TOP TEN: Laura Dundovic y una TOP FIVE: Rachael Finch.


LUCIANO MAROCCHINO
La franquicia del concurso MISS CHILE está en manos del empresario italiano LUCIANO MAROCCHINO quien a pesar de su considerable fortuna está muy lejos de ser un preparador de misses. Mientras las representantes de casi todos los países latinoamericanos y de todas partes del planeta estan siendo elegidas, la reina chilena brilla por su ausencia. Previamente desde 2004 hasta 2006 la productora de eventos Coca Cané asumió como propio el reto de hacer el Miss Chile. Ella cuenta que ya esa vez fue muy complicado conseguir auspiciadores y que quizás lo más difícil fue obtener el espacio en TV. A su juicio, el concurso está desperfilado y es categórica sobre el por qué de esto: "Los mismos chilenos matamos al Miss Chile".
La última Miss Chile que compitió en el Miss Universo fue Belén Montilla en 2006.

Débora Moura Lyra una linda garota de sólo 20 años fue coronada Miss Brasil Universo, la noche del sabado. Es estudiante del 2do perúŒdo de Jornalismo de la Facultad Pitágoras. Con una esbelta estatura de 1,80 m. Débora naci�Eel 26 de septiembre de 1989.

El Segundo Lugar fue ocupado por LILIAN LOPES, MISS AMAZONAS quien ser�Ela representante brasileira en el certamen Miss International.


El Tercer Lugar fue para MARYLIA BERNARDT, MISS PARANA quien ser�Ela representante en el concurso Miss Continente Americano.


Débora Moura Lyra será la representante del pais carioca en el próximo Certamen Miss Universo 2010, que aun no tiene sede ni fecha definida.

Stefania Fernández, actual Miss Universo fue la encargada de imponer la capa a la nueva reina. Mientras que Larissa Costa, Miss Brasil 2009 coron�Ea su sucesora.

LONDRES (Reuter) - Con sólo 20 años de edad, Tara Hoyos-Martínez acaba de convertirse en la primera latinoamericana que representará a Gran Bretaña en el certamen de belleza Miss Universo 2010. Aunque nació en Londres, sus rasgos la delatan: sus ojos y cabello oscuros hablan de la ascendencia latina de esta joven de padres colombianos que afirma estar orgullosa de sus orígenes.



Por primera vez en el Reino Unido una bella colombiana representar�Ea Gran Bretaña en el concurso de Miss Universo. La noticia se ha difundido como reguero de pólvora entre la comunidad latinoamericana, orgullosa de que esta linda muchacha de padres ambos colombianos, un triunfo que demuestra que cada vez más y más disminuyen la intolerancia y el racismo en Europa y en el Mundo.

Pero quien es Tara Martú‹ez Hoyos, ¿Solo una chica guapa más? Yo he tenido el privilegio de estar cerca de ella y su familia y puedo asegurarles que es mucho más que una cara bonita y aunque va a representar al Reino Unido y por tanto es de nacionalidad británica, su ascendencia es latina, pues su mam�Ees una colombiana que también fue guapa en su juventud; y su pap�Eque ya no est�Econ nosotros también era colombiano. ¡Que orgulloso estarú} Roberto Hoyos de ver donde ha llegado su querida niña Tara!

Luz Marina, la matriarca de la familia junto a Tara y Sharon, (La hija más pequeña) de igual simpatía que su hermana, forman una familia cálida y luchadora que pasito a pasito, camino a camino se ha abierto paso en la vida desde que su esposo y padre Roberto las dejo en contra de su voluntad. Me emocion�Eel saber que Tara lleva tatuado en la espalda el nombre de su pap�Ecomo un homenaje a su padre fallecido. Seguramente hoy Tara habr�Erecordado mucho a su pap�Ey le habr�Ededicado su victoria.

Tara es mucho más que una cara guapa, se present�Ea este concurso por apoyar a la fundación -Joshua- que ha sido elegida este año por la organización del concurso como beneficiaria de parte de los beneficios del concurso. Esta fundación cumple los sueños de niños enfermos de cáncer terminal y brinda apoyo a sus familias. De hecho Tara est�Ecursando sus estudios de BioquúŠica en la Universidad de Manchester para después de graduarse, especializarse en Cirugú} Pediátrica.

Cuando le preguntas a Tara como se definirú} te dice: "Soy una persona ú‹tegra, humilde, extrovertida y muy ambiciosa, mis padres se encargaron de enseñarme e inundaron mi vida de principios y valores humanos, de hecho pienso que no hay mayor riqueza para cualquier ser humano que cultivar y construir vuestras vidas de ellas y dar la mano al más necesitado."

�E El concurso de MISS UNIVERSE GREAT BRITAIN 2010 se ha celebrado este año en Birmingham hace algunas horas. Tara representar�Ea Gran Bretaña en el concurso de Miss Universo, que aun no tiene sede ni fecha confirmada.
Son las 4:00 de la madrugada en Londres y, tras hablar nuevamente con Luz Marina, la madre de Tara Hoyos, ella me confirma la primicia mundial que est�Esacando Minka.

Tara no sólo es la nueva MISS UNIVERSE GREAT BRITAIN sino que también ha ganado el premio MISS CHARITY, pues ha sido la que más dinero ha recaudado para la fundación Joshua......Le sigo preguntando pero me dice que por favor hablemos mañana porque est�Eagotada.....y yo que pensaba que ella era incombustible, pues la he visto luchar contra todos los impedimentos. Nace una estrella y ahora debemos apoyar a Tara Hoyos en todo.

Para la actual Miss Filipinas Universo las cosas no han sido faciles. Sabemos que sufri�Eel estigma de ser hija ilegú‘ima de padre hindú y madre filipina. Además de criarse en la miseria, sin contar con las comodidades básicas, Venus vivió en una choza de nipa de madera, bambú y hojas, sin electricidad en medio de un extenso campo de arroz en el pueblo rural de Bato, por más de 17 años.
Sin embargo todo esto no impidi�Eque desarrollase un bonito cuerpo, lo que la impuls�Ea participar en diversos concursos de belleza que son toda una tradición en Filipinas. Caminar sobre un dique con cáscara de arroz fue su formación inicial para desfilar en las pasarelas.
En 2007 particip�Een el Concurso MISS KAOGMA


De Izq. a Der. Venus es la segunda reina con el número 9. Obtuvo el premio de MISS KAOGMA TURISMO.


Ese mismo año particip�Een el Concurso MISS BICOLANDIA 2007, clasificando como 2da Finalista.


En 2008 compiti�Een el Certamen MISS FILIPINAS-EARTH donde el obtuvo el premio de MISS FILIPINAS-ECO TURISMO. La ganadora de este evento nacional fue KARLA PAULA HENRY quien se coronarú} como MISS EARTH 2008, poco tiempo después.


Gracias a su perseverancia, Venus consigui�Ealzarse con la corona de Miss Filipinas Universo 2010, y aunque intentaron destronarla, logr�Econfirmar su tú‘ulo y continua siendo la reina nacional de su paú�.

Durante la presentación de las candidatas, los conductores la emprendieron contra la representante de El Seibo, Elba Dú}z Pujol y utilizaron un lenguage ofensivo para hablar de sus presuntas preferencias sexuales.

"Ella para nosotros es conocida porque particip�Een el reality 'Buscando Al Cirquero', donde gan�EJose Ángel, es amiguita nuestra, se ha hecho varias lipo y es tortillera, es marimacha", dijo al aire Enrique Crespo.

Pero las ofensas contra la candidata no pararon all�E pues tras los comentarios de Crespo, la conductora Analyz Cañizares, la única mujer dentro del programa, le advirti�Ea las jóvenes dominicanas que tuvieran cuidado con la bella reina.

"Es lesbiana, as�Eque atención muchachas, si se les acerca mucho es porque les gusta, porque ella es lesbiana".

Las declaraciones de inmediato causaron revuelo no sólo entre el público, sino entre los organizadores de Miss República Dominicana que criticaron la manera en la que ofendieron a la joven y de paso negaron tales afirmaciones.

"Como vamos nosotros a darle algún tipo de crédito a los comentarios que hagan 'los dueños del circo' cuando se la pasan destruyendo a la gente de bien y aunque respetamos todas las preferencias individuales y personales de cada candidata no tenemos ninguna información de ella que nos indique que eso sea cierto", coment�EMAGALI FEBLES, directora del concurso. "Ellos todos los años inventan algo y buscan desprestigiar a las candidatas".

La experta en belleza, que ha logrado coronar a cuatro Miss Universo, fue más all�Ey se sum�Ea la campaña para que el programa de televisión salga del aire.

"No es justo que las muchachas que vienen aqu�Etengan que aguantar este tipo de ofensas de un programa que cae en la vulgaridad y es penoso porque no sólo afectan a las personas de su género, sino la imagen de los que vienen de otro paú�".

Crespo no prest�Eatención a los comentarios de Febles y neg�Eque al usar epitetos vulgares contra la reina dominicana contribuya a aumentar la homofobia que existe en algunos sectores de la isla.

"Nosotros hablamos sin pelos en la lengua y no decimos mentiras. Ella es lesbiana y ella lo sabe y si usamos la palabra 'tortillera' es porque aqu�Een República Dominicana si tu dices lesbiana sólo te va a entender un 10 por ciento de la gente, pero si dices tortillera te va a entender el 100 por ciento, porque ese es el término popular para que la gente entienda".

La mayoría de ellas está hecha un manojo de nervios, no es para menos, el zar de la belleza, se encuentra ávido de encontrar la “Miss Venezuela 2010”. Las detalla, ve su mirada, su expresión corporal, su piel, sus curvas, para todas hay comentarios, algunos positivos, otros no tanto. Su fama de “difícil” ha traspasado nuestras fronteras, no obstante, dicen por ahí que las venezolanas son tratadas con más rigor. Las coronas conquistadas por el zar de la belleza lo confirman: disciplina, perfeccionamiento, inteligencia, belleza y actitud se combinan y se obtienen tan extraordinarios resultados.

Cuando nos acercamos a conversar con algunas de las aspirantes, nos comentan sus sueños: “Desde chiquita quería ser miss por eso estoy aquí”, otra expresa: “Cuando nací mi mamá sacó la cuenta del momento en que me vería aquí en la quinta Miss Venezuela, a los 21 años, en el 2010, imagínate crecí con ese sueño de mi mamá que ahora es también mío”, otra de las aspirantes agrega: “Llevo muchos años haciendo modelaje, pero mi agente y mis amigos me lo han dicho tantas veces que tengo que venir. Hoy es oficial, vine a ver qué pasa”. Otra chica nos ve de lejos y desde el fondo del salón señala: “No es lo mismo que te lo diga un familiar o un amigo que eres bella, lo más importante para mí es que lo diga Osmel”… una niña piel canela con grandes ojos verdes nos comenta “Pensé en algún momento iba a sacar el papel y me iba a decir eres bella, firma aquí”. Las presentes estallaron en risas.

Sueños convertidos en realidad, aspirantes que tras la corona necesitan una palabra de Osmel, un gesto, una señal que las pueda convertir en “Miss Venezuela”. Del cuadro de candidatas del año 2010 ya hay seleccionadas 2 oficiales. Muy pronto las conocerán.
