Subject: CINDY CRUISE 2011 - Options.....Please Vote

You have asked about the cruise - and I have listened. The state office has been working with our travel agency and have two options for our Cinderella Families to vote on this year. After reviewing everyone's post from the past few weeks, it seems as if January or February won out on the time of year. Take a look at the options below and respond either here or on our Facebook page by Sunday. Polls will close Sunday evening and then the official date will be announced.

Option 1 - 5 day Cruise - Leaving January 17 - Return January 22. (Jan. 17th is MLK day so most schools are out) Gives us 1 extra day in a port - Progresso, Mexico, but will sail during the week. Not sure about school, but prices are less than the 4 day option.
Inside Double - 375.00 pp, Triple - 305.00, Quad - 270.00, Quint - 247.00
Ocean Double - 415.00 pp, Triple - 340.00, Quad - 300.00, Quint - 275.00

Option 2 - 4 day Cruise - Leaving February 10 - Return February 14.
Same boat as above - Ecstasy - leaving out of Galveston. Same trip as we have always taken.
Inside Double - 397.00 pp, Triple - 320.00, Quad - 280.00, Quint - 255.00
Ocean Double - 440.00 pp, Triple - 350.00. Quad - 310.00, Quint - 285.00

There may be discounts off of these prices for Military and Past Guests. You can ask Vicki at the time of booking. Please vote on Option 1 or 2 by Sunday and then deposit dates will be announced.

Ultimately I would LOVE for it to be MLK weekend...but actually be over the weekend from January 13th - January 17th. We just can't miss a whole week of school, which may be why it is less expensive. - Just my 2 cents about that, I would rather have the whole 6 weeks to let my teachers know I will be out and prepare for missing 2 days, than miss a whole week at the very beginning of the semester during major lecture and teaching time. -- 2 days is easier to miss than 5 :-) - Kendall, 16:45:14 08/05/10 Thu
