I myself would like to make a short review on LGS's newest game Thief 2: The Metal Age. I've only played the first level off of a demo disk, but let me tell you, if one level in a game can occupy for 2+ weeks, it's a great game. I didn't expect the second to be as great, but so far, it has surpassed it's preceeder. With new enemies, tools, AI, strategies, and levels. Thief 2 is sure to be a winner.

The level I had the privellage to try out was "The Unwelcomed Guest." I've beaten it on expert already, but that alone took me at least 5 days. Let me run over the mission for you.

Your mission is to in the end, steal some plans from the "Mechans," I highly equipped Hammerite seperatists group. They are holding a banquet and you need to break in and steal their schematics from the upper floors. And on expert, you must also refrain from killin anyon. You must also rop the Trader's Bank of some diamonds, and rob the Carlysle Armory. To do all of this, you must also stay off the streets by passing the level jumping roof to roof. Trust me, this level requires patience, strategy, wit, and darkness to pass. And don't worry, you still have a lot of the elements from the first game; including giant spiders, zombies, guards, and freaky religious groups. The Artificial intelligence is amazing, and as a plus, you can even whack Lord Bafford with your blackjack in the Mechan tower. I hope you all enjoy this new game.
