Subject: A Recapitulation, as it Were!

"See, I have made the iron-worker, blowing on the burning coals, and making the instrument of war by his work; and I have made the waster for destruction. No instrument of war which is formed against you will be of any use; and every tongue which says evil against you will be judged false. This is the heritage of the servants of Yahweh, and their righteousness comes from me, says Yahweh." [Isaiah 54:16-17] To believe that everyone who confesses and professes the name of Yahweh is on the same page as Yahweh and Yahshua is erroneous. From the beginning Carol and I have found that people are self-centered and basically narcissistic by their own choosing.

From our initial arrival at Bethel to the current date, the results have been continuously the same, failure on the part of many (perhaps even most) participants. Individuals that started their quest for salvation have fallen by the wayside because of their sinful nature. Hearing and believing false doctrines and reports, these individuals have fallen victim to Satan’s deceitful postulations. For example; the Bullinger (Dr. E. W. Bullinger’s Companion Bible) take on Genesis 6:2. Bullinger believed that the sons of Elohim were angels that mated (sexually) with the human daughters of men. This doctrine was promulgated around Bethel, and other places, despite the fact that Elder J. O. Meyer said it was a false teaching. Yahshua answered this concerning the resurrection and whose wife would belong to which man, hypothetically, she married prior to her death on earth. Matthew 22:29 “But Yahshua answered and said to them, you do err, not knowing the scriptures, or the power of Yahweh. For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as angels in heaven.” Angels have no reproductive capabilities is the understanding here!

Needless to say that when a false doctrine is refuted or one is corrected for sin there will be a backlash from unconverted people. And this was the case when I defended Elder Meyer on this false doctrine. The false teaching that was being circulated was in contrast to the teaching and explanation of Elder Meyer on said subject. For me to defend Elder Meyer started a war of long duration that continues to this day. For reasons that can be determined from scripture, Satan and his minion apostate angels have tried to assail and destroy Yahweh’s people from day one of the creation of man. See Genesis chapters 3 and 4 for the effort made by this sinful being. Once Satan enters a human agent/being they are henceforth doomed. As one can determine, Cain allowed Satan to remain within him and he was ultimately destroyed and there will be no possible way that he will have an opportunity for eternal life.

Did the confrontation by Yahweh Elohim change Cain’s mind? Did Cain repent of his sins? No to both questions! It takes a lot to change a person’s mind or, to even effect any change in the average human being, notwithstanding. Once Satan gains a foothold into a person’s life, he maintains control barring any intervention by Yahweh himself! After decades of addressing these behavioral typologies, one gets tired. What did the writing and preaching accomplish? Did people convert, permanently? No, it seems that their conversion was only superficial! Yahshua faced similar difficulties during his ministry. He preached, rebuked, healed the sick, and did miracles never before seen by the human race, but, did the people believe, did they truly convert? Very few converted as the direct result of his personal visit here on earth!

An interesting passage can be found in Luke 23:8-10 “Now Herod was very glad to see Yahshua, because he had wanted to see him for a long time on account of what he had heard about him. He was also hoping to see some sign done by him. So he continued to question him for a long time, but Yahshua gave him no answer at all. Meanwhile, the high priests and the scribes stood nearby and continued to accuse him vehemently. Why didn’t Yahshua answer the accusations leveled against him? Why did he not defend his innocence? Why did he remain silent? Apparently Yahshua saw this realistically, and knew that no matter what he said, they would not believe him anyway. 1Peter 2:22 “Who did not sin, nor was guile [lies] found in His mouth;" [See Isa. 53:9]. Would his testimony make any difference at this juncture in time? Obviously not! When Satan enters into the person’s mind, in this case the minds of those wanting him dead, there is nothing that can be said to change their/these minds.

And such is the case that we have found while being associated with various and sundry clientele during our sojourn here on earth. Accusations of every type have come our way. What can we do about it? Not much, because, as they lied about Naboth, 1 Kings 21 Yahshua, Matthew 26:59 “And the chief priests and the elders and the whole Sanhedrin looked for false testimony against Yahshua, so that they might put Him to death,” and many others like them who stood for truth, they will lie about us. Romans 8:33 “Who will bring any charge against Yahweh's elect? Yahweh is the one justifying!” No one can do this period. It didn’t work then and it will not work now! Although accusations are brought, they are refuted by Yahweh, for example and for instance; Zechariah 3:1-2 “And He showed me Yahshua the high priest standing before the Angel of Yahweh, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him. And Yahweh said to Satan, May Yahweh rebuke you, Satan!” And to this, we agree wholeheartedly! Ita sit!
