Subject: Playing to the Crowd; Although Limited in Quantity and Intelligence!

When one believes they are writing and making points to anyone that they think is hearing or reading their harangue, they tend to make it more grandiose than it really is. Such is the case for the Assemblies of Yahweh Abuse forum on Voy. This is in all reality not an abuse forum wherein the complainer has a legitimate leg to stand on but, this is a bashing forum where anything goes and no accusations are checked for veracity. In this say anything you want world people are no longer compelled to tell the truth. So, they say and do whatever they please as long as it satisfies their need for vengeance, revenge, or ego satiation! “For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "Yahweh will judge his people." [Hebrews 10:30] And this scripture matters not as they take vengeance into their own hands for the mildest of slights, they are (so they think) sort of verbal vigilantes. IALMAO on that as linguistics is not one of their stronger endowments!

The problem can be found in the narcissistic personalities posting these bashing missives. It’s all about them and their perceived slights, rebuffs, for their own sinful ways. They sin and the good people feel the brunt of it just as did Yahshua for the sins of the world. They (the narcissist) must be justified by and with any possible manner or device. Narcissists can be very dangerous people and they will do anything to accomplish their goal, even murder! Narcissists when faced with criticism or limits (boundaries such as legal) are very apt to turn nasty and become extremely defensive. Believe me I know about these types as I have worked for them during my life and, they are not pleasant people when they can’t have their way!

Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is an extensive pattern of distorted regard for self and others. They view themselves as special and superior with their self serving and a grandiose thought pattern that centers/focuses on them as the key point of their surroundings. And when others fail to validate their special status (so they think) they become angry and extremely defensive. These are the shouters and bullies! And they will intimidate and abuse those around them specifically browbeating them into submission…to them! The diagnosis for NPD is as follows: (Taken from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual, Third edition. (DSM-3) The official diagnostic manual used by mental health professionals.)

Diagnostic criteria for 301.81, Narcissistic Personality Disorder:
A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior) hypersensitivity to the evaluation of others, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by at least five of the following:

(1) Reacts to criticism with feelings of rage, shame, or humiliation (even if not expressed)

(2) Is interpersonally exploitive: takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends.

(3) Has a grandiose sense of self-importance, e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, and expects to be noticed as "special" without appropriate achievement

(4) Believes that his or her problems are unique and can be understood only by other special people.

(5) Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, beauty, or ideal love.

(6) Has a sense of entitlement: unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment, e.g., assumes that he or she does not have to wait in line when others must do so

(7) Requires constant attention and admiration, e.g., keeps fishing for compliments.

(8) Lack of empathy: inability to recognize and experience how others feel, e.g., annoyance and surprise when a friend who is seriously ill cancels a date.

(9) Is preoccupied with feelings of envy.

Borderline, Histrionic, and Antisocial Personality Disorders are often also present in narcissistic (NPD) individuals. I can tell you for certain that the writings on this so-called Assemblies of Yahweh abuse forum fall right into this category and diagnosis. These people should be seeking professional help and not soliciting the opinions and help from like-minded and mentally damaged people on this board and those who read (AOY members, et al, past and present) and believe these self-serving diatribes. They seek to vilify others but they exonerate themselves. One should do as it’s ofttimes spoken in literate circles; -“Nosce te ipsum” Know thyself!
