Hey!

I read some of what you answered to Mark and friends about me. I wanted to thank you.

You are right, there are younger kids here and so I need to be discreet. I will just say that we did not go all the way but were thinking about it. The rest will be left unsaid.

Jasmine was bad news and I should have seen it but I was taken by looks. Yes, I was willing but she sort of pushed things and then when she broke up with me over all of this I realized we were not a good match. She has already hooked up with a Senior and so I guess she is happy. I am OK. I need to look for a girlfriend with similar values to me.

I have good parents and friends. My restrictions and punishments are done but I did need the "down time" to think and get my head on straight.

You are right, I was feeling very guilty and I wanted to be stopped but did not have the will power to do it myself. I am not sure I really knew this up front but felt it deep down. I have permission to say this - PJ is the one I told and he brought his Dad into the picture. Yes, I was (and wasn't) angry with him for a while but I got over that. I realize he did the right thing and it really was what I wanted. I think he and I are much closer now.

I felt awful for a while because I felt dirty and sinful and felt unworthy to write and even say I was Christian but God used the incident to show me the power of forgiveness and redemption. I now have a writing in progress about forgiveness that I am working on.

Hi Rat,

It has been a long time since our last "conversation".

Rat, you made a mistake and now you must recover the confidence your parents had in you. But you are a great guy, and I am sure you soon will get this confidence back. Everybody makes mistakes, and you were lucky to have a friend like PJ who helped you out of your problem.

Sometimes we choose a girlfriend for the wrong reasons, and in this matter we men are a little dumb, because we take a long time before realizing we made a wrong choice. Happens all the time and happened to me before, so I know how you feel. Believe me, the right girl is just waiting for you, just keep your mind opened to this.
