Rat, you made a mistake and now you must recover the confidence your parents had in you. But you are a great guy, and I am sure you soon will get this confidence back. Everybody makes mistakes, and you were lucky to have a friend like PJ who helped you out of your problem. Sometimes we choose a girlfriend for the wrong reasons, and in this matter we men are a little dumb, because we take a long time before realizing we made a wrong choice. Happens all the time and happened to me before, so I know how you feel. Believe me, the right girl is just waiting for you, just keep your mind opened to this.
