However, I saw on TV on CNN News on the early morning newscast before leaving for school that PHIL the Groundhog that lives in PA was shown before a large crowd of onlookers and he was predicting SIX MORE WEEKS OF WINTER! Now some consider him the "offical" forcaster of the USA, and others seem to look at their own area for a forecast. What's predicted for your area? Any Groundhog sightings and forecast for next six weeks? We have no snow now here, had about 2 inches dropped last weekend Saturday but, since melted with temps. up into the 50s. There was picture in the newspaper and the caption under it said that OUR STATE OFFFICAL GROUNDHOG DID NOT SEE THEIR SHADOW AND WE WILL BE HAVING AN EARLY SPRING AND NO MORE SIX WEEKS OF WINTER! I didn't know we had an "offical" state Groundhog. Guess we do, and I didn't know about it. He's been on the "job predicting" for about 12 yrs. Now, how did I miss out not knowing about our State Groundhog? Does your state have an "offical Groundhog?" Thought I would report and let you know about this.
