I have the same thing and yes that is true as far as an effect on me, I noticed mainly like you when women would wear a long legged high waisted boned and zippered panty girdle.

Women would be I believe even in todays society be pleasantly surprised the positive effect wearing a vintage girdle does have on men and their relationship.
To me women who do choose to be daily in a vintage are reallly empowered women, not like a anti girdle propaganda that comes out about feminism. A girdle really do amazing things in helping women get in touch with who they really are like molding and shaping and giving their figures needed control and support in a healthy way.

You are correct the corsetieres back during the Golden Age or Girdles were very professional. What was interesting back then going to a professional corstiere was almost like going to a doctor, and women back then develop a relationship with their corsetieres. Generally back during the Golden Age of Girdles as I remember they would go to their corstiere for a fitting about once or twice a year.

Professional Corsetieres where trained Spencer Trained, they were trained on muscle and sketeton of the human body, plus the psychology. Both go hand in hand when being fitted and trained in coreset and a vintage girdle.
There is actually from what I learned a lot to being a professional corsetiere and to help women get the right fit for their figures and their personal life style.

Yes women can like men develop a Girdle Fetish is comes from women's sexuality, they actually feel very sexy when in a vintage girdle. Once they experience the feeling of sexuality this becomes quite addictive. There is a book on this written by a woman in Australia but I can not remember her name. I know somebody on here did write about her.
