Thanks Kelly for your thoughts and ideas. I have a feeling though this is a job for an established corsetiere. A girdle must be quite a difficult garment to construct properly. Getting the materials is one thing but designing can`t be easy. Perhaps an old established firm might still have an archive of their 50s and 60s designs. Sadly so many went out of business though. I still think that the early sixties very firm powernet satin panelled designs were the most erotically charged garments ever made?
