OK, I checked the UPS tracking status, still waiting for shipment from JCP. Unbelievable! This is exactly what happened before, but I waited, thinking things were busy for Christmas. I'm not waiting 3 weeks again for it to never come. I have to go to the dentist, but when I get back, I'm going to email customer service. I'm going to demand shipping the item to me, with shipping charges removed, and I'll ask the rep to personally advise me when the item has shipped. If unwilling, then refund, and JCP is out of my life forever.

Funny you should mention local pickup, when online, it said that two were available for local pickup at closest store. I selected that option, and at checkout, they said none were available. I selected the check another store, and they said none were available within pickup area. So yeah, JCP is definitely going Sears Roebuck!

When I get back, I have a past JCP incident to relay also.
