pat0003,
You make a couple very good points. I definitely want to wear as firm a girdle as I can that will be reasonably comfortable. Since I'll be in a girdle for I'm guessing 3 to 4 hours total, maybe longer depending on who shows up, firmness is something to consider. I'll be staying about a 30 minute drive from the get together so that adds to the total as well.

Fortunately the event 5 years ago, at the same venue, was just standing around, socializing, eating a few snacks, and maybe have a couple drinks. Very impromptu and quite girdle wearing friendly I think.

To help I've been wearing the two new girdles around the house quite a lot. For two reasons....I always love wearing a new girdle, and to get them worked in before the reunion. I'm planning on taking maybe 4 girdles along and make my final choice the afternoon of the reunion.
Thanks pat0003 for your input, it's has me thinking. Enjoy wearing your girdle.
