Hi Robert,

End of August is pretty much the hottest time of the year in USA.
I don't mind sweating in a girdle while working outside when it's hot.
But I do have on shorts, and a light or white colored tee.
Plus, I'm not socializing with a group of people.
I wouldn't want to be hot and sweaty while attending a reunion, with dress clothes on.

I'm assuming the event will be completely indoors, in a venue with good air conditioning.
Energy conservation guidelines allow A/C temperatures as high as 78 degrees.
At 78 and the clothes you suggest plus a HWLLPG, I'd definitely be sweating.
But, then again, I'm a person who tolerates cold much better than hot.
Most venues keep temps much lower than 78, but you never know.
I would need at least 72, and better yet, 70 degrees to be comfortable.
Just something to consider.
Cheers!
JP
