Hi Heather, Yes I can relate to not having any choice, like you I hated them at first taking it off when I got to school and putting it back on after school, but after a few stern lectures from Nan for not wearing my Girdle and pleas from mum just to keep Nan happy, its a bit like something clicked in me when having no choice during winter as I needed the girdle to hold my stockings up its sort of like the girdles and I become one I went from trying to avoid wearing a girdle to starting to think each day "I should, I better, is it a good idea to wear a girdle today" to just wearing a girdle each day and enjoying the feel and how I looked. Yes ok at 52 there is still a bit of a rebellious teenager in me not wearing a girdle but with 4 teenage girls in the house who are girdled and a 9 year old who all can tell if I am not wearing a girdle and give me a look of disapproval making me feel guilty and going and putting a girdle on! But would love to hear more about your life in Girdles. Clara
