The doctor accidentally stuck her in the palm of her hand giving her the used shot. We drew her blood and the doctor spoke with her about the risks. After he left she talked to me. I told her she really needed to get the Hep B vaccine series. I also recommended ehat the doctor said about getting a dose of gamma globulin. She was 20 and I said you are too young to get hepatitis. I weighed her on the scale and she weighed 108 pounds. I told her I would be right back. I drew up 2cc in two different syringes. I came back in the room and shut the door. I said I am going to give you one in each butt cheek. This stuff is like glue. I am not going to lie to you. I told her to lie flat on her stomach on the bed. I then untied her purple scrubs and pulled them down to her knees. She had on a pair of purple panties which I removed. I had her turn her toes inward. I pinched a handful of her left hip and quickly thrust the 18g needle up to the hub in her butt. She screamed as the needle hit her butt. Once she relaxed a i slowly injected the 2 cc in her muscle. She had tears in her eyes when I pulled out the needle. I massaged her butt muscle for a few minutes until she said it felt better. I told her she had one more. She tunred and got a glance of the needle as I sank it into her right bun. Again she screamed out and the tears flowed by the time I was done. I wiped the blood trickling down her buns off and placed two bandaids on the sites. I massaged her butt muscle for a few minutes. I told her she needed to go on a long walk. I helped her get her panties and scrubs back up. She hobbled around the room for a few more minutes. She said it was really hurting.
