I had to go to an urgent care center yesterday because I was running a fever and had a horrible cough. The doctor said I am going to give you a z pack , but I am also going to give you a shot of rocephin to jump start it. I am thinking no big deal a shot in the arm can/t be that bad. My neighbor down the street works at the this place and he comes in carrying a small syringe with a long needle filled with some yellow colored medication. He gives me the z pack and instructions. Are you ready for this shot. I said which arm? He then tells me sorry katie this was has to go in your bottom. I think I gulped out loud. My mom who is in the room said now katie be a big girl and take your shot. First I was embarrased that I was goi9ng to have to pull down my pants in front of a neighbor I know, but then I was scared too when I saw how long the needle was. I had on a pair of high heels and he had me slip those off. Then I unsnapped my jeans and pushed them down a little and leaned over the table. He then pushed my jeans below to mid thigh and them my panties came down. Now both him and my mom were looking at my bare backsides. I felt him swab the alcohol on my butt and then a sudden sting as he put that needle into my hip . He pulled out the needle and wiped off the blood spot and put a snoopy bandaid on my bottom and pulled up my panties. He massaged my hip a few times telling me I needed to go on a walk to get it worked into the muscle. He told me had mixed it with lidocaine so it would not hurt as much. It sure does ache today. He said most nurses would have just mixed it with sterile water and it would have hurt like hell. I have to go back on Wednesday for a follow up.

Vicky a 20 year old law student came into our clinic to be seen for a persistent cough. X-rays revealed she had a bad case of bronchitis. The doctor ordered a gram of rocephin. I mixed it up with 3cc of lidocaine. I came back into her room and closed the door. I explained that I had an injection and that it would need to go into her hip. I had her lie face down on the bed. She was wearing a red anbd white sun dress with sandals. I pulled up her sun dress above her waist. She was wearing a purple pair of panties that tied on. I untied the one side and uncovered her firm butt. I had her point her toes inward. She had dimples on each of her butt cheeks. I p0laced my hand firmly on her left cheek and darted the 20g needle into her butt cheek up to the hub. She gasped as the needle went into her butt. I slowly injected the 3cc into her hip and pulled out the needle. I wiped off the blood spot and put a bandiad on the site and massaged her butt cheek a few minutes before retying her panties. She got up slowly rubbing her bottom. I told her she would feel better by the next day. I told her to come back next week for a follow up appointment.
