Antibiotics hurt but not that bad, it hurts for about 10-30 minutes after the shot depending on the type and whether it is mixed with anesthetic or not. lay on you stomach, clinch your hands really strong, cough during the needle entry, roll your toes inwards. Author: mandi [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: Sunday, April 24, 2011, 03:18: pm thanks for the answer laila, i thought that i would get one shot and be done with it, i did not realize that i would need 1 shot a day for so many days. i wanted to lay over the doctor's lap because like i said i hate needles, and would be nervous and plus i have a habbit of squarming at times and feel that it is better that i lay over the doctor's lap so that they can hold me down so that i do not squarm as much, and if that is not possible then maybe i can lay on my mom's lap and have her hold me down so that i can get the shot. plus i heard that antibiotic shots sting adn burn a whole lot is that true? i am real nervous about this adn do not know if i want a shot, just thought it would work faster.
