When I mentioned that it's OK to cry even as an adult, it's also OK for you to put yourself in the mind of the administrator of a shot and wonder what response they are thinking about when giving a shot. Givers of shots have many of the thoughts that the receiver has but they simply don't allow you to know what they're thinking. They simply go through the exercise of preparing the syringe, pulling you underpants or panties down over you behind, plunge that long sharp needle into your behind, then begin pressing the plunger of very painful medicine into your' behind. I was told years ago that believe it or not, that's why many women as well as men physicians wear long white coats to cover up any possible indications that they themselves are getting turned on by giving shots and the coats hide this response. Author: Rich [ Edit | View ] Date Posted: Friday, June 24, 2016, 11:13: am I suppose there might be caregivers who get aroused by giving buttocks injections, as no doubt there are those who probably get aroused taking a rectal temperature, though not as common as in the past, but still as needed, done; but I'd say the majority just do what has to be done. I can tell you this, a very unpleasant experience for may caregivers, especially either nurses or doctors was giving the Pasteur treatment,(to my knowledge, no longer given this way) especially to children. I can remember mine, and I also remember periodically hearing radio announcers ask for help in locating a dog that had bitten a child (circa 50s/60s) when the shots were given in the patient's stomach with long needles and a thick serum, and you got a shot every day for 21 days. No fun. I believe many nurses and doctors dreaded doing it, but sadly, if the animal was rabid, and shots not given, the patient would suffer a horrible death. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
