Subject: Injection in butt Author: Jeff [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: Sunday, March 10, 2013, 07:48: pm At lunch last week I was complaining to a female friend who worked as a nurse in a building where I sometimes made sales calls that I had to go to a clinic for a shot due to a family member who had contracted hepatitis. She said she could give me the shot after lunch, but I declined because it had to go in my butt. However, after lunch I changed my mind just to get it over with. We went to her office and I sat on the exam table while she filled out some insurance forms. Then she had me lie on my stomach and pull my pants down. She told me to relax and that she see's lots of fannies but I was more embarrassed than I thought I would be. My pants were down around my knees, but she rubbed alchohol on the upper part of my right buttock. She told me too relax my muscle as much as possible, put her left hand across the bottom of my butt, and then put the needle in. It was a painful shot, but mostly I was embarrassed. Thats all she said. Do you want a bandaid on the spot and she said ok and pulled her dress and I pulled down her panties and placed the bandaid. I received them from ages 6 until I was 13. I got the shots at home because the allergy specialist lived couple hours away. They mailed the vials to us. I got all my shots for about six years in my arms except when I would go for a checkup twice a year they would sometimes give me a larger shot in my bottom. When I was 12 my arms were getting sore and had become tough from all the shots. Most of the needles had trouble going in. i thought the doc would let me just quit the shots, but he said I could just get them in my butt for awhile. I was shocked. i had to get them in my butt for about a year and a half. My dad gave most of them to me and my great aunt gave me a few. I admit I did not miss the sore arms one bit. After about ten minutes he pulled up my panties and helped me with my jeans. he said your bottom is going to be tnder a few days. You need to go for a long walk. he was not kidding. I went to a travel clinic recently and received the Typhoid, Hep A/B, Polio, Meningitis, MMR, Tdap flu and yellow fever, all given in the arm. Only the yellow fever burned.
