Seriously, if you're for real, shots are not usually a daily occurrence in a modern psych hospital -- especially for minors. What does happen is that a patient having a violent episode, and therefore is presenting an *immediate* safety threat to herself or others, will be restrained and given an emergency sedative injection -- and that does go in the bottom. As long as you're a well behaved and cooperative patient, my guess is that you will get few, if any, shots.
If you're put on a new oral medication, however, you should probably expect some blood draws, possibly every day for a few days, to check if the medicine has reached a therapeutic level in your system.
