Back in the 80s when I took my then g/f for a pre-employment physical, I intruded on a very awkward moment for her. She was face down on the examining table with her jeans and panties lowered while one of those no longer available, glass mercury fever thermometers was buried at least half its length, sticking out of her behind having her rectal temperature taken. The nurse returned, I caught a rash of dressing down from her and then I realized that all the time I was standing there gawking, the door to the exam room was wide open and no doubt any number of staff and patients got a good glimpse of my g/f's 98.6 getting checked. Yeah, even then I found it odd, though more common than expected that the rectal temperature method was still used. No, unfortunately no pictures from that little "diagnostic" procedure,...butt(pun) I'd have loved taking her temperature instead of the nurse; and taking her picture too, all while her tan lined bottom was bared, her butt cheeks perfectly rounded, her white cotton panties and blue jeans down her thighs, her legs slightly spread while her and my temperature (mine certainly was) rising! Going there with my girlfriend was almost like we were her parents. This was very late at night. The ER was empty, dead. I was very close to Tiffany and we would wrestle for hours all the time. Also, when I got there, if she was a block away and saw me she would run toward me and leap on me and start kissing me like crazy. She was a nutty California kid full of laughs. So when we were in the hospital, it wasnt an issue of privacy etc. We were the only ones there. Tiffany would never mind me being with her in that situation. Nor did her mom. Also remember, Tiffany did not seem sick at all. I thought she was doing it all for attention. But I couldn't say she didn't have an ear ache. When her mom asked her if she wanted to go to the hospital, I was pissed. I didn't see a sick kid. The fact that a shot was involved was a surprise but the entire scene was very laxed. As far as pictures, I didn't do a photo shoot...lol I managed to take a couple of photos and that's it. And this was before the anything about a shot was even mentioned. When I go to the doctor now I have all my friends, be they women or men, come in with me. They watch everything my doctor does. It doesn't bother me. A girlfriend had me come right into the exam room when she was examined by her gynocologist when she was pregnant. But that being said, you did say this was in the past. I can remember when RNs in the ER smoked! That wouldn't be tolerated today.
