Has anyone else had injections that left your bottom so sore you couldn't sit down? If so, for how long?

All the time! It can take hours before I can bear sitting down!

In my case, Suzie, reaction is often delayed so that I can sit down immediately after my shots but sometimes not next day.

I've had my fair of buttocks injections, many which administered were almost not felt, the needle, sharp, going in so fast, the medication being injected, with minimal discomfort. Then too, I've had shots (buttocks) with fairly thick medications delivered by at least an 18g 1 1/2" or longer length needle, which after getting pierced, the medication burned as it was injected, and in one case I remember; I got an anti-biotic shot from a very no-nonsense nurse who quickly yanked my jockeys down, swabbed my upper buttock and stuck the needle into my butt muscle then plunged the medication into me. For two days I felt like I was walking around with a "softball" under my butt skin!

But the injections I dreaded, as I would very quickly learn, had to be given every day until the "regimen" was completed, occurring many, many years ago, and talk about agony...rabies shots in your belly- I got 21, one a day abdominally for twenty-one days. So albeit, buttocks shots can be painful, until you got a belly full literally of long large bore needles forcing thick serum into your stomach area, you can't appreciate painful injections.
