But, as I stated in an eairler post in this thread ... Patient compliance vs unvaccinated population. Group think is an major problem in American society on many issues this it just an example.
"Not all, but most doctors or nurses will honor a patient request. Ultimatly the decision is up to the doctor ... although the hip/butt isn't a reccomended injection site by ACIP, patient compliance is a larger issue ... not getting the vaccine vs getting it in an alternate site."
It's up to the patient to ask for alternate site injections.
