Nick,
Great to hear that you are actually flying a D-motor equipped aircraft with good performance, and reliability.
Since this is a fairly new type of engine, I wonder how difficult it was to get approval from the authorities to change the engine-type. Did they ask for a lot of documentation, about durabillity- and other test-results?
I plan to build an ultralight aircraft and use the D-motor. But I am aware that problems can occur when applying for EAA build state.
