Defending the Duterte Administration (Free Verse)

“I lend you money, hoping that someday you cannot pay
By this I will be happy…this which would lead to your dismay.
Your misery will be my happiness.
Truly, I never think that your life would be filled with goodness.

In the end, I will get what’s yours
Because you cannot pay
The value of what I can get from you is higher
Look what happened to Sri Lanka, my dear.”

The above phrases are what’s in the mind of otso deretso
Now reflect on the matter—About the best thing to do:

Ask me, I can invest in two ways: Borrowing money to have a start-up capital
Not borrowing money…just having little savings each day until I can start with the project with my handful capital but with no debts to worry about.

In India, the rich borrows money from the bank, then, they send their children to U.S. to study. After graduation, they expect their children to work then pay the money they borrowed. The education obtained abroad comes from borrowing money. Call it: ‘Project Education.’

Now here comes Project Build, Build, Build. The otso does not want to borrow. ..The present government is keen on borrowing… but this borrowed money would be spent properly for projects that this present government seeks to accomplish or achieve.

Borrowing money is a good thing to do provided that it (borrowed money) will be properly spent. It will be a hard situation in life if there’s no one or nobody there who will lend you money.
The Duterte administration’s projects are tangible. You can see them, and I don’t find borrowing money (even from China) bad to support Duterte’s projects.

The U.S. also borrowed money from China. China’s economy is good. China even build condos (with no people yet to dwell). They foresee that someday, people would just come and occupy these condos in the city where China built these condos.
