My Poetic Reply to Rizalito David

For all the words you’ve written…, now is the time to say that I have to defend Digong
You may have known him for only one minute, I’ve known him for 10 years-that decade long

You’ve been blessed by the previous admin—your wife and perhaps your whole family
But Digong doesn’t only think of one person. He cares for the whole humanity.

As journalists, we’re trained to write about the truth unless we succumb into the temptation of yellow journalism--
That is, if we allow stain to enter into the articles we’ve written because of ‘benefactors’—This way you can’t appreciate the prism.

Boracay, Baseco, times for curfew, --All these lead to orderliness
Have you ever wondered why a probinsyano leader (Digong) was able to fix all these mess?

He does not have it.
We have not been as divided a nation as we are now. The division permeates even families. Things would have been different if not for the extra judicial killings and absence of respect for human rights, violence and impunity.
Things mostly would have been different if only DUTERTE knew how to use his mandate properly and chose the right people to help him govern and not rule. His failure to do so led us to this mess. DUTERTE gave us reason to protest. It is his fault not ours.
If he cannot do it under normal circumstances, he won't be able to do it even under a revolutionary government. The latter will only amplify his incompetence and ineptitude and push even further the killings of the innocents and the poor. He does not have anything good in him. He is pure evil.
