Wiper

When we were doing our thesis in Ateneo Davao under Professor Orcullo,
We had to go to Nabunturan---All those teak or neem trees—part of our devcom topics, too.

We needed to have that research and we needed to have a ride—
Anything, even if it’s dilapidated, as long as the vehicle can take us to the site.

It rained so heavily, our ride did not have a wiper
About 7 persons at the back of the pick-up, thinking whatsoever…

…finding ways for Jude , the driver to be able to see through the car glass
We had to make one ‘human sacrifice or human wiper’, Ritchie was the most thin, we carried him to wipe the glass (so Jude can drive).

Now, the wiper is the head of NIA, thumbs up to you…but are there more waters to wipe?
Ritchie, this poem is for you. G-d saw how much you strived (Kudos!).
