The bone of contention is whether Beautiful Mocha is worthy to receive the UST Award or not.
Did she buy it, crave for it, pay for it? I think she did not.

Did she have any knowledge that she will be receiving an award or that she was caught by surprise?
3 days ago, the Soldevilla Clan in Iloilo gave an award for Arts and Literature..and they (awardees) all marched.. (prior to the awarding).

I was surprised to be called later but I really wondered why I was not included in the march.

What did I do? What have I done? For me to be accorded such ‘honor’ is a big question. Quite surprised?

I’ve been asking myself who nominated me for it?
No questions asked when I clearly heard my name on mike..Oh, this is it.

I remember the race.. about the man.. for the king’s daughter to wed.
He who is brave..who can swim across the lake filled with hungry crocodiles, the stomachs or mouths of which, have to be fed.

Suddenly there arose a winner worthy to receive the reward (king’s daughter) and the ‘swimmer’ heard the words of the king while he raised the flute glass –‘..for the man the King wishes to honor.’
Before the king could finish his words, he (the swimmer) interrupted the king’s speech: “My king, it’s not for your daughter..but here I am asking who’s that man who pushed me into the water?"

Medals and awards maybe important for some. For others, it maybe not (that important).
For Mocha, she may ask the petitioner to personally facilitate the return of the award, but will he (petitioner) do that?

It’s not about receiving awards or returning the award that matters.
I think, by now we have to be more sensitive or careful not to break the woman’s (awardee) heart.
