Poem for Mocha and Joel --- Ensaymada by Carlo G. Soldevllla

Ensaymada

Written on January 24, 2018

Mix the milo and the coffee, the result is mocha.
A flavor of cake or ice cream, but never had I tasted it (the mocha flavor) on ensaymada.

In the first paragraph of my poem, I’m shifting a little bit from the controversy,
Now, I can begin writing about these two born-again Christians, Joel and Mocha about the award of UST.

Was the award given like a Trojan horse that after receiving it, it would lead to an attack with a certain victory?
If so, it’s good that it’s been returned right away, what is left is the matter about the decision of the giving back of the award just recently.

My dad’s favorite quote is ‘Instead of pointing an accusing finger, extend a helping hand.
Only Joel can answer if he is living according to the ways of G-d.. and His righteousness. Had Mocha been his friend….

…he would be more forgiving, understanding, offering a helping hand, accepting a lowly sister in faith the way G-d understand(s) (people).
Will it be good for Joel to find a way, to ask for an apology, knowing that, in one way or another, he offended a born- again sister who does not belong or living our to his standard?

My piece of advice for Joel is simple: ‘”Go to Mocha’s home. As much as possible, kneel and ask for forgiveness.’ The earliest you can do this would be better, .. or right before the sun sets. The issue between your Christian brotherhood or sisterhood you must ‘settle’.”

Maybe if this song below Mocha would sing for Joel,
The latter would cry and pray “Lord, who am I?..You, O Lord have the only right to hammer the gavel.”

The verse I wrote before finishing writing this poem:

Clothed in barong or dressed in jeans, who can be the better preacher? :
The one who gives hope to the poor and needy, or the one who has bigger tithes to offer.

This can be a poem about religion and a poem about faith
How I wish this is also a poem about love, where one has got no one to hate.

Based on (1) the song and (2) the reaction of Mocha:
