Bryant played a lot better than the outcome. They outgained Maine, had possession and looked more physical and stronger after the first quarter.
Bryant had 2 INTs in the red zone and a missed FG attempt. To top it off Bryant had their starting QB, 3 out of 5 starting OLine men, and both starting DBs all out with injuries for the first game. 1 Oline is done for the season, our QB is out for 5 weeks, the other 2 Oline men are out 2-3 more weeks and the information about the DBs wasn't released.
Unfortunately Bryant had the chance to have a great season, but it looks like it may be a 5 or 6 win season with all the injuries. However, they did hold their own and dominated the second half (and Maine had its starters in the whole game).
