Thanks for your reply, this sheds alot of light on this problem for me.
I have decided not to really try to duplicate any certain police department. I thought about just leaving the car dark blue as it is and adding the equipment that it would have had. I have already added the radio antenea,Decator radar unit, and am working on finding some 80's era radios( both high and low band, am also waiting on a Federal PA 300 and an old radio rack I aquired in a trade.
I had a 1960 Buick 4 door sedan once that had been used by the local police way back when. I got pulled over so many times in that thing by the Ohio State Patrol, that I decided that I would'nt mark this car.
I also have an Aerodynic I could put on the cruiser, but I liked the look of the 184 better.
