318s have alot of the "Slant 6" reputation for durability and like the "Slant 6" they're a hard engine to Blow up
Right now I'm the Proud owner of a 1977 Plymouth Volare Wagon and I will hopefully be buying a 1978 Dodge Aspen sedan My Volare has a 318 and the Aspen I'm looking at is a "Slant 6" as well i know the body's will fall off before the engines will Blow. The Slant six will be in at least 3 cars before it dies I predict.
As well If your Copnsidering a F body or M body Mopar Check the "Front Frames" carefully
