The "guy in Wisconsin" initials are P.B. I know him much better than you do, and he never told you any such thing about his '78 460 PI car being as quick or near as quick as his '71 429 CJ cars, which he has two of, because he prefers them. Not only are they a much better, faster, much lighter car than the '78, but they are also much more rare than the '78, and consequentely worth a whole lot more money to a serious collector (which you aren't)...that's probably why he's trying to sell HIS '78. Do you want his number? Give him a call. He's at least got a RUNNING '78 460 P.I. car, I'm sure he'll give you a good deal on it, especially since you think it's such the pinnacle of Ford P.I. performance....not....it was OK in 1978 but don't ever try to compare the two vintages, and your "friend" in Wisconsin thinks you're a nutjob, too! So, stop embarrassing yourself, and your Ford P.I. car that no one will ever see! Trying to make like it was the Ford "super police car of the century", because some of us actually DO know alot more than you do about YOUR car. It is what it is! Now go ahead and build your NASCAR/Top fuel eliminator 460 P.I. car, waste alot of money and time and become a real laughing stock if and when you do ever show up at a function with it! Show up stock, without all of that shit on it, and I'll run you with my stock '72 decompressed 429 CJ, and it'll still kick your ass! I wouldn't waste the gas in a '71 429 CJ PI car! Besides the '72 won't embarrass you as bad! Now, wake up from your dream!
