Subject: Cop Cars Needed For Wacker Drive Reopening Chase Author: Dave Weaver [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 21:08:31 11/12/02 Tue The Chicago Department of Transportation is inviting owners of marked squad cars to take part in a press event to celebrate the re-opening of the newly reconstructed Wacker Drive. This event will be a re-enactment of the Bluesmobile chase scene from the greatest movie of all time, The Blues Brothers. The chase will begin on upper Wacker Drive which officially opens earlier that day. The chase will continue on to lower Wacker Drive where the vehicles will be the 1st to drive on the new road which has been closed for 2 years. The event will take place on Tuesday November 26th at 7PM. Car owners wishing to participate must contact Dave Weaver at 312-455-1212.
