Bob,
There is nothing wrong with you keeping your antique squad car away from car shows. Preservation alone is an important part of the hobby. Preservation takes time and money and I am glad that you are doing it. But when it comes to your car (which I would love to know something about) the only way that I can appreciate it is knowing that someday it will end up in the hands of someone who will thank you for your efforts and then make the extra effort to bring it to one of the great police car events held across the country. I hope that you realize that many of the emergency vehicle events held today are a lot more fun than the typical boring shows that turn you off. Do I think that Greg is a better car owner than you? No. Do I think that he is more of an asset to our hobby? Without question he is. Do I think he is the Pope of police cars? No, that would be Ed Sanow. But he is a Cardinal. Your efforts make you an alter boy. You get all the stuff ready, and later on someone else takes all the credit.

Uh, Cardinal Reynolds? We won't be reading about you in the news anytime soon will we? With all the lawsuits and whatnot, I was a little concerned. (NT)Happy Mopar Guy00:25:04 09/13/02 Fri
