I guess we can go back and forth on this one forever to as who was right, wrong, and overreacted. Things about this gentleman's behavior and demeanor bother me. I contribute pictures to 2 places here, and Bob Hagen's Squadpix...granted both have fairly simple url's, and what not, but how can you know at least know the site's name. Yeah some of them, as Dave pointed out have wacky url's, but the still have some sort of "title" right??

Since this whole fiasco I have taken an entire roll of film while out on the road, including "big city" departments (our home terminal is in Indianapolis and I live within 4 blocks of Cleveland) and no one said word one to me. If there's anything that's "news" to people outside of the East Coast (aka Fly-Over Land) it's this guy getting arrested, no police officer I talked to even heard about this, it certainly never made our local news here in Ohio that I know about...

Perhaps I should be all apopletic and sensitive to our color coded government nonsense as well, after all Flight 93 came right over Cleveland, my parents house, and after those brave souls on board tried to take control of the plane it crashed less than 30 miles from where my grandmother and most of my extended family lives...close to home for me...does that make me any better, or equal with the "east coast" experienced??? No, obviously not, everyone in America was shaken to their very core that day, I was in Otay Mesa, CA that morning...I saw the Border Patrol & CHP set up a roadblock on I-8 outside San Deigo detaining and searching every truck, car, boat, etc going Westbound, I watched the video live, and repeated over and over again in Calexico, CA, I called my family (being a truck driver they never know where I am), and I spent time on the phone with my girlfriend crying...I've been to New York, D.C. etc, I don't live there, I have relatives in Baltimore who work for the federal government in and near the area of the attack, but to make the assumption that September 11th is a priviledged event is foolish at best..

One last thing, I have taken photos of the police departments around the township in question (never had inclination to be in Williston Twp itself), both pre & post 9/11...never had a problem, quite nice people....BUT I also tried to take pics of the Villinova University Campus Security...and was told I had to recieve permission for the University's Public Relations Office...the Campus Police were quite courteous to me and what I was asking, but my question is...

If this guy goes to school at a place where you have to have University Approval to take pictures of it's own campus vehicles, why in the hell wouldn't he be conditioned to ask EVERYONE for permission???

2 cents
