In reply to: James 's message, "Favorite to Drive/left foot braking" on 15:55:48 10/11/02 Fri

Perhaps for doing tricky driving in a pursuit stuation, LFB would be OK, but for normal driving right foot braking should be used. I can always spot the lefties going down the road as the brake lights keep going on and off as the left foot rests on the pedal. Also undue wear can be put on not only the brakes, but on the transmission when stop and go are fighting each other. I still prefer a manual transmission which would dictate the obvious, so why confuse the driving experience with two opposing reflexes? This has been the norm for years and whenever I ride with a lefty, I can hear the car moaning "stop it!!!"
