The only words to describe >>>this pageant from beginning to end are A TRAIN >WRECK! >>>From the Saturday prelim being delayed well over 30 >>>minutes and the opening final being delayed again and >>>even the intermission was 45 minutes (it was to be 15 >>>minutes) - someone needs help with numbers. The teen >>>winner, in my opinion, was way off - she held two >>>fingers up in the air in several instances and could >>>not even walk nor pose - she did some type of >curtesy. >>> The true winner, the lovely blonde from Bowling >>>Green, was completely overlooked. Now moving on to >>>Miss, goodness these judges need glasses. Several >>>were left out, the beautiful Latina and the blonde >>>(both made some type of non-finalist). The Latina >was >>>breathtaking in Saturday night's prelim. I would >have >>>placed the Commonwealth girl higher than 3rd, but she >>>and the yellow gown, in the top 5 were both >deserving. >>> It would be nice if the emcees could have read a >>>script, but then again they may not have received the >>>script until seconds before, from what I have heard >>>about this competition and about this director being >>>timely. Very, very sad. JMO. > >It seemed like a parody of a pageant. The rock and >roll chic rides up enters in her old gown from the >dime store, makes a joke of it all and rides off with >the crown on the back of her dudes harley!! >Caroline should have won in teen if they wanted a >polished, beautiful well spoken girl with lots of >personality. Obviously they did not and went the >other way. It was clear from the previous winners who >sounded like the worst kind of idiots when they spoke >that they are not in it to be a classy organization. >Has KY ever done well nationally in this system? >Sounds like the Director is a hot mess with zero >vision or ability to run a pageant let alone know a >winner when she sees one. >Of course Caroline will do MKOT. Why wouldn't she? [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |

| When I see this pic above, I can't help but think how Jon and Shane have helped the MKO with MKOT. Each year at Miss Ky, former MKOT girls are prepared, competitive and successful. Too few times we take the time to say thank you to those who work hard for our daughters. Thank you Jon and Shane. | No name | 13:34:18 01/13/14 Mon |
